Unit 2D - Routes controlling a floor turtle

 

This focuses on use of the Roamer to develop skills of controlling a robot, giving sequences of instructions and using a repeat command. Pupils need to spend time on developing and recording instructions and predicting the outcome of a set of instructions.

  • Teachers can create background screens using Turtle which pupils can use, for example, give instructions to Santa to visit all the rooms in the house, give instructions to visit all the houses on a simple map.
