Come and meet some of my Australian mates at Featherdale Wildlife Park.

Australia has lots of animals that you can't find anywhere else.  Some of them, including me, belong to a group called marsupials.  The animal young are born very tiny and then develop in pouches until they are big enough to survive on their own.  These animals are all marsupials.

This is me saying hello to a Kangaroo.  You can feed and stroke the Kangaroos in the park.

Wallabies look very similar to Kangaroos.  They are both vegetarians.

Lives in Eucalpyt forests along the eastern edge of Australia.  They eat a certain type of Eucalypt leaves.  They are nocturnal and sleep for 16-18 hours per day.

Live in forests and woodland in the South East of Australia.  They are also nocturnal and live in burrows.

You can see other animals at the Sydney aquarium in Darling Harbour.
