Alan November: Teaching Zack to Think - Developing
Critical Skills on the Net
|
Too many students are not sure how to separate
fact from fiction on the Internet. The Internet can
provide any version of the truth to support almost any
belief. Students can be taught how to read the 'grammer'
of the Internet and to apply strategies to validate
information on a web site. This workshop led by Alan
November, provides step-by-step teaching tips that help
students and teachers think critically about Internet
information.

|
"Don't allow your knowledge to be
replaced by the Internet, your knowledge is critical. I
think teachers should be giving more structure not less
structure."
