Mats are used to provide the big picture, address learning styles, promote life-long learning and develop effective individualised learning.

Participants will be guided through the process of creating learning mats using a variety of approaches, such as providing key words, images, questions and memory aids.  Clear links are made to the National Curriculum and QCA programmes of study.  Emphasis is placed upon their application in the primary age range, although the process is relevant to all phases of education.

Target Audience:  Primary / All
