Year 6/7 Transition Project

 

Julia Rose Head of ICT, The Commonweal School, Swindon

 
Julia will describe the process in building relationships with feeder primary schools;
regular meetings with ICT coordinators, teaching sessions in the summer term to
prepare pupils for year 7 and collect samples of work for entry levels, visits by year 6
pupils to secondary, year 6 teacher observation visits and the joint writing of a year 6 scheme of work based on key stage 3 strategy.
