Creative use of interactive whiteboards to enhance learning in Primary MFL

 

Jo Sowerbutts Primary Advisory Teacher for MFL, South Gloucestershire

 
This session will demonstrate how an interactive whiteboard can be used alongside
authentic French material from the internet. It will demonstrate some ways of reinforcing language using an IWB (examples in French but applicable to other languages).
The session will also include:
  • Practical examples of text level work using poems, rhymes and instructional texts.
  • How pupils can write/ create their own presentations thus meeting objectives from the literacy strand in the Languages Framework.
