Mission: Control

 

Steve Heal Neston Primary School, Wiltshire

 
The session will outline a project in rural Wiltshire aiming to bring control technology to life, giving it a real and exciting context. The school ‘moonbase’ is a geodesic glass dome in the grounds, with computer and video links to the classrooms. By monitoring and controlling the environment and equipment from the classroom, children simulate conditions on a future moon base, controlled from the earth.
