An uncommon e-approach to the
common case study of Bristol as a settlement.
This project allows pupils to access this case study through a
series of technology
enhanced lessons looking at Bristol's site, functions through
time and main land uses. The project enables pupils to
access the information through a series of interactive processes
which tests their learning through activities ranging from
interactive crosswords, fill in the gaps to mix 'n' match
exercises. All of which give them immediate feed back on their
learning. The hope is to engage students to delve deeper into
the socio-economic forces which shape their local area with
possibilities of follow up fieldwork and coursework.
