Virtual teamwork - Using the SWGfL for learning!
Planning a collaborative learning project between two schools

 

Simon Botten Deputy Headteacher, Crossways Junior School, Bristol and
Jamie Woodworth ICT / Teaching and Learning AST, Wheatfield Primary School, Bristol

 
The seminar will explain ways in which the portal can be used to provide
collaborative learning opportunities between two (or more) schools. Practical issues
will be addressed, ranging from creating a collaborative community and organising
children into virtual teams, to planning joint multimedia and video activities. The
seminar will also explore the impact on learning at Crossways and Wheatfield
as a result of the project.
