St Stephen's Infant and Junior School Year 2 - Year 3 Transition Event 2004 (View Photographs)
  
St Stephen's Junior School wanted to enhance the transition of Year 2 children from the Infant School.  They invited the Year 2 children from the Infant School to join them for a morning of Maths Activities.

The day started with Ros Farrell (Numeracy Consultant) leading a Brain Gym session.  The Carol Cruickshank (Deputy Headteacher) organised the children into groups with Year 2 and Year 3 pupils together.  Several Year 6 children ran all the activities, which ran in a carasoul.  

The feedback was very positive, both from the Infant School as a good introduction to Junior School, and also from the Junior School who were able to continue building relationships.  The Maths activities were enjoyed by all including the staff!!
