Tip of the Term

 
Use a coloured border around pictures on flashcards to introduce new vocabulary.  This helps the visual learner to remember the gender of nouns.  Use blue borders for masculine nouns and red borders for feminine nouns.

For example:

When teaching vocabulary always put words into gender groups.  Use different colours or try using different voices / gestures to denote gender.

For example:

 
la tete le pied
la bouche le bras
An image of a greeting.
