Secondary French and German websites

As a department we wanted to create a bank of websites which provided resources catering for the needs of all pupils:  from beginners through to A2.  Working from published lists as well as our own 'favourites' we reviewed the content of the sites and compiled lists of French and German of those we considered to be the most useful.  We were looking for grammar structures and to further understanding of the culture of the target language countries.  Along the way we also found some sites which provide excellent resources for teachers, so these have been included as well.

This is by no means a definitive list of what the web has to offer, but just the first step in providing a teaching and learning resource for languages.  We aim to expand on this in the future.  Any comments or further recommendations would be welcome.
