Leading from the Middle

The programme aims to encourage your middle leaders to build on their own skills, to identify areas for further development, and through a process of blended learning, to develop into leaders of tomorrow. The blended learning incorporates use of online tools, face-to-face sessions for Leadership Coaches (3 sessions) and Middle Leaders (4 sessions) over a period of 10 months, and school-based teamwork, culminating in a Celebration Twilight session for all.

Emergent Leadership
 

Emergent leaders may manage a team, co-ordinate the work of a group of teachers in a single subject area or have pastoral or special needs responsibilities. These leaders make up a large and diverse group and there are important differences between phases.
