The transition co-ordinator takes this sheet as part of a talk she has with Y6 pupils regarding their anxieties / issues over transition.  This information can then be used to assign students to particular tutor groups, receive additional support, provide topics for future transition briefings, letters home etc.

Y6 pupils can also email a Y7 buddy to find out what really happens at Secondary School (and hopefully dispel a few urban myths!).

Y7 pupils are also used to provide insights during visits to feeder primaries - this includes conducting Y6 assemblies!
